Grand Junction Wedding at Colorado Mesa University
September 1, 2018
From the moment Caitlin contacted me about her wedding, I instantly knew that I wanted to be a part of their day! She had been referred to me by a past bride that I had photographed, which is the ultimate compliment! The way she described how they wanted their celebration to be was exactly how I would want my wedding to be if I were to get married today.
This wedding was my most anticipated of 2018, and it was an incredible way to end my 8th wedding season! I loved every single second of this day. I think I even arrived an hour or two early because I was so excited!
Now onto Caitlin and Karl’s love story. Caitlin described the proposal to me:
“Karl proposed at the top of the Ferris Wheel when the carnival was here in May 2017. It was romantic and terrifying - the Ferris Wheel was so rickety and noisy and half the carts were off limits - who knows why! We waited in line for soooo long and dropped all of our tickets without noticing it so it was our first and last ride of the night! When he got down on one knee the whole cart rocked and scared me half to death! We were so happy when we got off that ride (for more than one reason!) and grabbed some Taco Bell on our way home! It was a magical night.”
It was an absolute honor to be a part of their day, and capture these moments for them!
